Singles is the debut album from the drums and sax duo, Verploegh & Baker.

Evan Verploegh and Benjamin Baker are both members of the Extemporaneous Music Society (EMS), a Kansas City-based improvised music and arts collective.

The mission of the group is to help grow and facilitate an improvised/experimental arts scene in Kansas City through performances, collaborations, workshops, and a concert series. EMS was founded by Seth Andrew Davis and Evan Verploegh, along with Ben Baker and Krista Kopper.
